Is there not an internal data structure you use for searching that I might tap into to at least get me the fast searching part and I could figure out the rest?

well, we're still using a <table>, it's just got 3 data items per row instead of 1. To me, that's not that much different. We're already using DataTables for it, we're just not using filtering and sorting with it yet

Inside the row drawing logic, "_fnCreateTr" logic took 930ms "_rowCallbacks" took 398ms (I know this is my logic)

looks like the "scrolling" draw callback (_fnSCrollDraw) is taking ~ 1000ms Also, the loop to draw the rows inside _fnDraw is taking ~1400ms I'll dig in more

That is referring to the desktop Safari browser. You do not have access to anything but the Console output on the iPad. I already put a method in to proxy debugging messages to my server from the iPad so I can see the debug output...

I remember seeing somewhere on the Forums that you make some "eval" versus other methods choices based on browsers. Is there anything like that in the redraw code that I might tweak to see if it is the problem?

oh, also, if you have an iPad (only ipad will work), this will use iScroll-based swiping, but it still has some display issues as well.

By the way, if you play with that scroller enough, it actually doesn't redraw the screen sometimes. I'm not sure what's going on there, but it's kind of a problem :)
