Table.Draw() not working when ScrollX Enabled on table with drop down list filter for column

Description of problem: When I enable ScrollX and set to true, my column filtering is no longer working.
If I remove ScrollX, my column filtering works as expected. Am I missing something? Apologies, quite new to Jquery DataTables.
