It shouldn't freeze Editor, it should display a general notification saying that an error occurred. You should still be able to modify the data and then try to resubmit it - is that not working for you? Having said that, the ajax option of Editor (and DataTables) but inherit all of the options of jQuery's $.ajax method, so you can specify individual callbacks for the different status codes if that is suitable for your application - jQuery docs - statusCode section. I cant say this 100% but I would say yes from what Ive played with. I personally would want more control anyway over an API I couldn't change. This way you can add authentication if required and you have more control over the fields that are being returned.

I want to select only those record which need to display on UI. so how i retrive server side processing parameter value.

I am using datatable to display list in view. I have kept page size to display 10 rows at a time. user can change the values inside the table. But when user clicks on 'Submit' button, it posts only those 10 records to controller and not the entire list. Thanks in advance
