DataTables 3 promoted to nightly

It has been a month since the initial beta release of DataTables 3, and it has been well received so far. Many thanks to everyone who has installed, used and provided feedback for the software. Version 3 is a huge step forward for DataTables, and I'm very much looking forward to its general release.

As a step along that path, DataTables 3 has now been promoted to the master branch, which means that they are now the nightly builds.

Extensions

All of the extensions, with the exceptions of StateRestore and SearchPanes, have also had their new DataTables 3 compatible versions promoted to master and therefore the nightly builds.

StateRestore, I aim to have it ready before the general release of DataTables 3, however, SearchPanes is more involved and will likely follow after the release.

Plugins

The plugins repository has seen a lot of work this week to update the plugins for DataTables 3 and remove any dependency on jQuery. The plugins in the repo are now fully compatible with DataTables 3.

Feedback

Please use the new nightly builds to test your integrations with DataTables (or use the npm beta releases if you use a package manager) and provide feedback, so any tweaks that are needed before the general release can be made.

There is still a lot of work to be done in the background for DataTables 3 - specifically focus on the web-site, but it is edging every closer!
