It will hard to put here any JS Fiddle, but I'll try to explain my problem.

"columns" & "columnsDefs" ultimately serve the same purpose.

Reading the code above you insert a tr element into all .contact elements on the page. You then add those .contact elements (I don't know if there is more than one) to the table.

Buttons Show when i use html data.

This is the point where that change would be needed. You could just add another condition or perhaps remove that code block (I've not tested that!).
