The situation now is that I've hooked up a click event to each row using the live method. Within each row, there is an "open"/"close" image that toggles the "details" as

#myTable gets wrapped in dataTable_wrapper and ThemeRoller is applied.

Assuming that #myTable is the tag, I presume that 'msg' is along the lines of "......"? Otherwise you will run into problems. Aside for that, this would work fine. Do you have an example yo
