oTable = $('#table_id').dataTable({//constructor

I've tried the following but it doesn't work. The idea was to apply the class "edit_allowed" to any row in #table_id that does not have the word "System" in the first of the row.

$("#table_id tbody td:nth-col(4)").live('click', function() {

I have a column of boolean data on which I wish to search but not sort. I set my columns options like so:

$('#table_id').dataTable();

$('#table_id').dataTable();

$('#table_id').dataTable();

$('#table_id').dataTable();
