In the previous example, we've seen how StateRestore can be setup with independent buttons for creating a new state and listing saved states. In this example, we demonstrate the ability to add extra buttons into the states list by using its buttons property.

Specifically, statesList provides a buttons property which is an array of other buttons. You could use any other button here, including the export buttons, but it makes sense to keep the state control buttons together!

In this case, the create state button (stateCreate) is moved into the dropdown, and a button to remove all current states (statesRemoveAll) is introduced. A spacer button then follows to separate the control buttons from the state buttons.

You'll be able to see how you can customise the UI to suit your needs in this way. For example, if you don't want to provide an option to delete all saved states, just remove that button.

This table loads data by Ajax. The latest data that has been loaded is shown below. This data will update automatically as any additional data is loaded.

The script used to perform the server-side processing for this table is shown below. Please note that this is just an example script using PHP. Server-side processing scripts can be written in any language, using the protocol described in the DataTables documentation.
