Server-side processing : return HTML data instead of simple text or numbers ?
Hi all,
I'm investigation DataTables as a potential candidate for an application.
However, the existing back end is too cumbersome to upgrade right now to output raw JSON values or array values.
Is it possible to use DataTables if cell data, instead of being a simple numeric or textual value, is a chunk of HTML ? (which could contain images, or html links, or stuff like that).
Also, is it possible to use DataTables with a table that the column definitions (names and such) are not known beforehand, and just come with the data?
