AutoFill not working with Input elements

I'm using AutoFill with Inputs inside some columns, But AutoFill just replaces the values inside the input with blank space.

Our old CMS still works fine with older legacy 1.9.4 with AutoFill, but I'm now migrating to newer version but can't get my head wrapped around this problem.

I can see AutoFills drag icon and I can drag just fine. But when I release the dragger it will replace all inputs with an empty value. I'm aware the legacy 1.9.4 requires some extra code to get it working with Input elements, however in the latest docs it says it should work with input elms by default. Any help would be appreciated.

Google Chromes Console does not report any errors.

To reproduce the problem try entering values inside the inputs and then dragging using AutoFill.
