The github project angular-datatables has been archived as of Feb 2025: https://github.com/l-lin/angular-datatables. The last release was for Angular v19. I'm blocked from upgrading to Angular v20 without using npm overrides, which of course I'm hesitant to do on production code.
What have other people done? Has anyone used DataTables.net on Angular latest without angular-datatables? If so, do you have sample code, helpful tips, etc?
Does anyone know why angular-datatables was archived? I can't find anything in the discussion, issues, website, etc.

I'm not sure you will find the answers to your questions on this forum. There isn't much activity regarding angular-datatables here as its not developed nor supported by Allan. Possibly someone can help though.
You may want to check on Stack Overflow. Maybe the question has been discussed or you can ask there too.
