Downloading to excel based upon search box
Hello,
I am creating a survey system and I would like to do the following:
When the user is viewing results for free type questions, I have displayed the results in a datatable, I would like it so that if a person types "Bullying" in the datatables search box it filters the datatable, but then I would like a "Download To Excel" button which downloads to excel with the filtered results from the datatable.
I have tried putting a form around the datatable but when submitting the form, it goes to a stange datatable URL.
Is there a way to submit a form with the results of the datatable search?
Also, can I separate search terms by ";" or "," or is it single search only?
