Hello all,
I'm really pleased to announce that all of the plug-ins found in the "Plug-ins" section of this site are now available in a DataTables Plug-ins repository on GitHub: https://github.com/DataTables/Plugins . The plug-ins section of the site is now being dynamically generated from the information in the repository, so the plug-ins will always be up-to-date.
While working on the plug-ins, I've also taken he opportunity to update the sorting plug-isn to take advantage of the new features of DataTables 1.9 - namely the pre-sort formatting option of 1.9. Faster execution and smaller code size are the results :-).
This work is part of an on going long term plan for DataTables to increase the modularity of the library, and also its extensibility. Also, community involvement in creating new plug-ins for sorting applications, API methods etc are very welcome. Please fork the repo and issue pull requests with your updates!
As always - lots more still to come with DataTables :-).
Regards,
Allan
