Saving table directly to file as pdf without Save Dialog?

Are there any possibilities to save DataTables table directly to file when PDF-button is pressed?

No this is not possible as Flash restricts that ability. It would be a security risk since web-developers would be able to save any file to your computer just by clicking on a site!

I have a situation where this kind of feature would be nice.

E.g. generating tables to certain directory and then a Windows Service or other program (timed with AT to run) would then mail or copy them automatically from that directory.

There are numerous server-side PDF creators available where you could take data and automatically make PDFs. Possibly place them in a shared directory for users to access if that is what you need?
