I am using datatables to display data from a server.

A huge problem with this is a search engine can't see any of the data. To google it is just a blank page!

Are there any solutions or planned fixes for this?

How are you sourcing your data? If its by Ajax, there there isn't a fix that I can put into DataTables - its because Google won't load the Ajax data when indexing your site. If you want the data to appear in the search results, you need to have the data on the page - i.e. in the DOM (DOM sourced data in DataTables terminology).
