Need to show progress bar on JQuery Datatable client side sorting

Hope all will be doing fine.
I have used JQuery Databale. This utility is wonderful. I even have no enough praising words for it.
I have a little problem with sorting. It is working fine, even I have used the custom client side sorting. But the problem is that, I cannot show the progress bar when the column header is clicked. Sometimes it takes a little more time during customized sorting. I want to show the progress bar on client side sorting process so that at least user does not get confused whether it is doing sorting or not. Please help me to resolve this problem.
