So basically a "Read only" button? Just such a read only button is a feature that is planned for Editor 1.3, although I hadn't considered it for use with a print function - I'll add that to the feature list. thanks for the suggestion!
Until then, one option might be to define a custom button for the TableTools instance which will open a new window with the data to be printed rendered in it?
