renaming problem

When i change the name of the file in the save as pop up window, the extension does not remain same(it should be). I am setting the sFileName parameter. any help?

This is a limitation of Flash and is not something that can be overridden.

well can i then change the file type in the save as window? currently the file type is "All files"(only)

No - that also is a limitation that Adobe put into flash. File a bug in their bug tracker :-)

well then....but can the user be restricted to changing only the filenname, not the extension?
