Anyway to use TableTools from local file file:///index.html

I am able to load everything, but when I click on copy, CSV, Excel, PDF flash buttons nothing happens. But the print flash button seems to work even though I never print. If I build an application that serves the same files over HTTP everything works fine with all the same files. Is there anyway to get this working locally?

Yes - point 2 in my first reply here: http://datatables.net/forums/discussion/12724/tabletools-cant-work/p1

I added an exception for file:///swf/copy_csv_xls_pdf.swf and still nothing. Closed chrome and re-opened.

Without actually configuring your computer for you, all I can say, is that when I add the required path to the "Always trust files in these locations:" box (without 'file://') it works fine for me.

Weird I was able to get it working in Safari (6.0.2), but using the same settings in chrome (beta 25.ish) and stable chrome (24.*) doesn't work on my mac.

Googling I found a couple forum posts about chrome not working with global security settings. Will look into that further.

So I am not sure why this fixes it but I found this: http://krpano.com/forum/wbb/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=8254

After disabling PPAPI and NPAPI was already enabled I was able to use TableTools.
