Initial Data Set - Google index friendly

I ran across a comment on this board that said the tbody has to be empty and will be filled in by datatables.
while this sounds cool, it breaks the view that google has. i was hoping to have the php layer emit the first set of data
and then have the data control eat that and pull the right data.

is there a way to use the control this way?
