Even TableTool examples are not working

I am a first time user of DataTables. I need to implement "Export to Excel" functionality. But even the TableTool examples dont seem to work. Am i doing something majorly wrong/stupid?? FYI, i have the latest version of DataTables

K, all other features worked even though i did not deploy the code on server. However, tabletools buttons will not work. When i deployed my project on wamp server the buttons started working

If you are using file:// you need to add a security exception to the Flash player to allow file export and copy to clipboard. That's just how Flash works, I'm afraid - nothing I can do about it.
