How do I customize the Pdf export layout ?

I'm having some troubles to do that, where I'm suppose to edit to define the layout of the pdf export ?

The export options are extremely limited. You can set the paper size and orientation and that's it. For anything else you'll need to make a few modifications to the source.

A mi me ocurre un error:
al guardar el nombre del archivo a exportar sino lo modifico y lo guardo por defecto lo genera correctamente, si cambio el nombre del archivo lo guarda sin extension.
¿Que puede estar pasando?
