how to save data

Hi i am new to data tables
i am populating the data into data tables .it is working good
But the problem is i am not able to save the data
i.e how to add new records
when i press the "new" button i am able to open the form but when i press "create" button it is not saving
data .how to pass the data to controller or database
can any one help on this ?
