This post is to announce the release of JED (Java Editor for DataTables). Over a period of time there have been Java developers posting questions on the DataTables forum attempting to marry the functionality of DataTables with a Server Side Java implementation to perform CRUD (Create,Read,Update, and Delete) operations. At times answers were not available in that the Java platform was not supported. That has changed! We had come to realize that this needed to be addressed. If you are on the Java platform and wish to use DataTables in your next project, visit the website: http://jed-datatables.ca. Just as you are used to, there are plenty of examples and tutorials that mirror those you find on the Editor website: http://editor.datatables.net/. All the functionality you find with the original PHP library is available in the JED library of classes.
If you decide to use JED in your next project, we have one condition regarding support. Please do NOT post questions on the DataTables forum that are Java or JED related. JED is brought to you by Tactical Enterprises Ltd., and they will handle support questions via email at support@tacticalenterprisesltd.com. We wish you happy coding and see you on the JED website.
