Table state saving with URL hashes

First of all thanks for the great script, so many options it is truly awesome work!

I had a suggestion for a new feature or maybe someone knows how to do it and I've just missed it.

I think it would be nice for the state of pages (page number and sorting if possible) to be savable via hashes on the URL. Such as "example.com/table#p3" would take you to page 3 on the table. I know the cookies option offers similar functionality but there is no way to link to it. If you know how this could be done please let me know, thanks!

This is a great JQuery plugin, but I am in need of a way to link to a given state of my table as well. Using the hash would be ideal. This could also fix the problem I have with users clicking the back button thinking they will go to the previous page of the table.

Is there a way I could use the API to build this functionality or any other pointers that could help me implement this feature?
