Want to use data table as input field in a from

I want to develop a html page which has a form on that. I have a field where the user will be imputing the data in the datatable (which will be will no values initially ). On submit it will be saved in the database .. And they should be able to add more rows if they want. Can anyone tell do I need to use normal datatables or do I need to have editor java script
