fnMultiFilter not passing search values in request

I think I posted my question in the wrong section as I am having trouble getting the fnMultiFilter to work as it does not seem to pass the search values back in the request. Here is the link to my original forum post, if anyone can assist me in working out why I do not get the search values passed back I would be grateful.
