counter column with server side processing php

my name is jakfar, i am from Aceh

i want to display row number or counter column in datatable like this api:

http://datatables.net/examples/api/counter_column.html

where the firts column in table is counter column (index),

but when implement using server side processing php cannot display the counter column.

how can i resolve this? i hope all of master can help me...Thank
