HTML5 copy event - information
This is a general information post with some information that I have just found about a new API that is coming in HTML5 - a clipboard API: http://dev.w3.org/2006/webapi/clipops/clipops.html#semi-trusted-event
This is of interest to use as TableTools currently uses Flash to provide its click to copy to clipboard feature, and this new API would provide us with the ability to remove Flash from that part of the tool (data:// might provide the ability to save to file and completely remove flash).
Its a very new part of the spec, so not part of any browser yet, but an exciting move forward in this area!
