I know there was a plugin that facilitated drag+drop row reordering in the previous version. Is there any support for 1.10.x or going forward? That was a really nice feature that is now non-functional with this latest release.

That particular plug-in was third party software and I don't think it has been maintained.
I do plan to develop an open source row reordering plug-in when I get a chance - but there is already quite a large queue of other software to be developed first! I have done drag and drop for DataTables a couple of times before, but that were proprietary for clients and not something I can release, but it is quite possible to do.
If anyone fancies sponsoring development of an open source plug-in I can move it up the priority list :-)
