Fixed Columns and Editor

Fixed Columns and Editor

maggusmaggus Posts: 3Questions: 1Answers: 0

Hi,

is it possible to use the editor together with fixed columns?
I would like to fix the two left columns, still be able to check the box for editing and deleting and use row selection.

Does anyone have a hint on how to achieve this?

    Hi Marcus,

It is possible to use the main Editor view, but currently inline editing and bubble editing are not supported. That is something I will be addressing with a future update.

    Hi Allan,

i tried, but didnt have much luck, as i could not select any record for edit/delete mode.
Is there a sample somewhere, so that i could have a look?

    Regards

Ah I see - you should be able to select the rows in the static part of the table, but I suspect you've found a bug about the selection of the rows in the fixed section. I will look into addressing that in a future version of FixedColumns and TableTools.

    Hi Allan,

I'm trying to use FixedColumns with Editor Component.

I set this line at the end new $.fn.dataTable.FixedHeader( editor )

But I'm having this error Cannot read property 'aoColumns' of undefined.

    What is wrong?

@juanasap - Can you please link to a test page showing the issue so it can be debugged.

    Allan
