legacy 1.9 - need button on row to invoke editor in edit mod

sorry this is probably a question answered a million times before in the past, but I can now only find 1.10 discussions. So: need to have an "Edit" button on each row, that brings up Editor in edit mode for that row? Thx in advance.

The method shown here will work with 1.9 and old Editor. But you need to use sDefaultContent and the other legacy options for DataTables.
