Scrolling for cells

I am using Data Tables with server side pagination as my tables are huge. Some of the cells are length as well. I want to add scroll bars to a cell when it crosses 50 characters. I have to do this dynamically as the table data changes and there is no way to know which cell would have text more than 50 characters. Please help!
