Passing Datatables external (server-side) HTML tables as opposed to JSON

Hello,
I first want to say how much I love Datatables! Keep up the good work. Ok, on to my question..... Is it possible to have server side HTML docs containing the tables you want to pass to Datatables? In my current environment I have been given hourly HTML exports from a SAS server that needs to be manipulated via your product. However, I cannot seem to find a solution. Any assistance or direction would be greatly appreciated.
