Any basic examples for displaying Oracle database records

Requesting anyone who has a basic php webpage example that uses dataTables server-side scripts in displaying selected columns of at least a table from an Oracle Database.. would wish to learn on how I set up a connection string and indicate the SELECT statements to display the records i wish to display on a php webpage.. super newbie here.. tnx much
