Versions - DataTables 1.8.1/1.10.4, JQuery 1.4.2/1.11.1, and IE 8/11?

Our company and application is a little behind the times. We're currently using version 1.8.1 of DataTables, JQuery 1.4.2, and IE 8.

They're finally rolling out an upgrade to IE 11 in a few months, so we started looking at how our app works or doesn't work in IE 11, and what changes we need to make.

One thing we're looking at doing is to upgrade DataTables to the latest version. I saw that the download included JQuery 1.11.1.

While I'd like to upgrade our version of JQuery too, I've noticed quite a few bugs that we'd have to deal with. I'd like to schedule that after we updated DataTables if possible.

Can you tell me what the minimum version of JQuery is for 1.10.4?

I don't expect an answer for this next one, but since I'm posting does anyone know of any issues with 1.8.1 and IE 11 in case we don't get to upgrade before IE 11 rolls out?

None spring to mind, but DataTables 1.8.1 is an old version now, and a lot has changed. There was a 1.8.2 that fixed a bunch of stuff so you could try that at a minimum. Having said that,t here might be some issue I'm not aware of, but IE11 isn't a bad browser, so hopefully it should be okay!
