Server side reload with ColReorder and scrollX options

Hi, so this question was asked over in the free community support section but I thought I would appropriately post it here in hopes to give it more attention.

Does anyone know why server side reloads occur every time a column is reordered when the scrollX option is explicitly set? See this jsfiddle for a working example. Notice that if you comment out the scrollX option the behavior cannot be reproduced.
