Tabletools and Adobe Flash

ksneha88ksneha88 Posts: 16Questions: 1Answers: 0

Tabletools uses Adobe flash for the Export csv/pdf etc buttons.
Most of the latest internet browsers are now NOT supporting Adobe Flash, how does TableTools work then ?
Could anyone answer this. Thanks In Advance.

Next week I'm going to be releasing a replacement for TableTools that will offer HTML5 options to replace the Flash buttons. You will be able to use either the Flash buttons (for legacy browsers, or those with limited HTML5 support for saving files such as Safari) or the HTML5 export buttons for new browsers (IE10+).

At long last I can implement TableTools (couldn't do so because of the Flash requirement)!

@Joyrex - The replacement library will be called Buttons :-). TableTools is going to be retired.

Waw Allan, nice stuff dude :) Plus i really needed this thing to be implented as i'm using it on a new site i'm on. So releasing it soon is a great just-in-time ^^

By the way, it would be nice to make it possible to add a "POST submit" button to position next to search OR to position on an Edit-row Form (medium white form for editing...) allowing us to post-submit this new row-entry to our DataBase(MySQL)...

    Thanks a lot !

@Allan if you accept beta testers for Buttons then I'd love to help out.

I'm not currently running a beta as the documentation for it hasn't been completed yet, and supporting a beta would mean delaying the release while I tell folks how to get up and running with the software..
