Datatables button rendering as empty

Hi,

I'm trying to use datatables to render an html table that is the result of an xml/xsl transformation. Things are working as I'd like them, but I'd like to get the 'Buttons' extension functioning for PDF export. The way it is at this point is the closest I've gotten to success and that is a little empty button. Any help is appreciated.
