Is it possible to show in grey the active page number ?

I searched but I have not found.

When the mouse hoover on the page number this become grey. I would that stay grey after choose a number.

You would need to modify the CSS to suit your needs. Specifically look at the a.paginate_button.current styling information in the stylesheet. By default it has a light grey.
