Test a plugin before buying a license

It would be nice to be able to test specific plugins before buying a license. I want to implement a table with remote instant search via the Select2 plugin, but I want to evaluate the quality of the plugin before buying a license.

Plug ins have no cost per se. You can get an 15 day eval license of Editor.

    "License required
The Editor plug-ins are available to download for licensed users of Editor only. If you already have an Editor license, please sign-in. Otherwise, an Editor license can be purchased to be able to access the plug-ins."

Yes, you need a license of Editor. You can get a two week test license, which should grant you access to the plug ins. Did you try this?

I can download the editor and apparently I am in the 2-week trial but I am not able to download the plugin ("Trial in-progress. 15 days remaining").

Got it. I didn't realize that the plugins were not included in the trial period.

Plug-ins and the time limit are the only limitations on the trial version of Editor. I felt that this would represent a fair demonstration of Editor's abilities during the trial.

The Select2 plug-in for Editor is simply a wrapper around Select2 - so if Select2 can do it, then it can also do it in an Editor form.

If the Select2 abilities effects your decision to purchase Editor or not, please drop me a PM by clicking on my name above and then "Send message".

    Regards,
    Allan
