Preventing the user from hitting the back button while in the print screen is a bit of a problem. Have you considered opening the print format in a new window? That way, you could eliminate the browser toolbar. You'd probably have to add your own Print button.
And also, you would have to trap the backspace key, similar to how you trap Escape.
Of course, a user could still right click and click 'back', but the idea is to prevent casual use of the Back, which is so ingrained in users.
When the printing is down, they could just close the pop-up and be back to the main screen.
