So I have purchased a developer licence for editor. But even though I have replaced the two .js files I still receive a dialog saying that my trial has expired. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Have you cleared your browser's cache? That's normally what trips up when updating from trial to licensed. The other thing to do would be to "view source" and then load up the
dataTables.editor.js
file and make sure it is intelligible. If so then it is the licensed version and if not it is the trial.Regards,
Allan
Have indeed cleared the browsers cache. When I view source;
datatables.editor.js
wasn't present. So I included it at the top of my index page but when clicking on it I just receive a 404 not found detailed error.I downloaded the css and js files from the link in the email. And also tried downloading them just by accessing the download section of this website to no avail.
Do I also need to redownload the
datatables.js
anddatatables.min.js
files? Thanks as always AllanOh wow; It seems to have just started working. Reasons: Unknown. Most likely caching as you suspected. I'm still, however, receiving the dialog saying its expired.
EDIT: Just removed the alert from the
datatables.min.js
file.Might you be loading Editor twice? A trial version and the licensed version!
The
datatables.js
file (and themin
version) from the download builder can include Editor, so yes you might need to rebuild that.Allan
Aha! That was it. Had both the download builder version and the standalone editor package both within the project. Such a fool.
Was an issue with the way I had used the download builder. Everything works absolutely perfectly now. Got to say; Me (and my boss) are over the moon with how amazing this entire package is. Thankyou for providing it :)
That is fantastic to hear - thank you!
