I currently have a 12 column table using the "stateSave", colViz, and colReorder features. I have reordered and hidden some columns. Now if I go and add 5 additional hidden columns to the table html and associated columnDefs, my table "state" is replaced with the default config.
My desire is to merge the existing 12 column order and visibility into the new 17 column config therein retaining the way I had my table setup. I have tried some testing utilizing stateSaveCallback, stateLoadCallback, stateSaveParams, and a "init.dt" event listener, but have not been successful.
