Issue Using Datatables in ASP.NET Web Forms

Hi everyone, I've been using datatables in many projects, so I'm very familiar with setup.

However, in my most recent project, I'm seeing that the table is initialized, but it shows ALL rows all the time (regardless of how many I choose to display) and it only searches the first row. Lastly, when you search the table, the No Results Found message is displayed in the first row, but the other rows below are not cleared.

Any one have any thoughts on why this happens? I tested this in a vanilla ASPX page, as well as an ASPX page with a mater page.
