Responsive extension doesn't collapse inside Bootstrap tab panel with class='tab-pane'

In the example link, the table collapses at smaller screen because CssClass is not set.
Has anyone been able get a table to collapse at smaller screens using the responsive extension inside a Bootstrap tab panel where the class='tab-pane' (per the Bootstrap documentation). I have not been able to get it work with the CssClass set to 'tab-pane'.
