When footer row has columns with colspan, on (excel) export, I get repeated content for those columns that have colspan:

Colspan is not currently supported in the header or footer for the exported files I'm afraid. Sorry.

Thanks for your prompt reply, Allan. Any guess as to when the functionality is gonna be implemented?
I don't currently have any plans to implement it myself - pull requests welcome though :-).
I do plan to rewrite how the Excel file is created in the next couple of months, which is probably a prerequisite for supporting colspans.
