excel exports empty file in MAC OS(chrome and firefox).

I tried the data export(csv and excel) data. In windows OS csv and excel is working fine. In the Mac OS csv is working fine but excel downloads the empty file.I used the Html5 buttons.

tried Chrome version: 48.0.2564.103(64 bit)

Seems to work okay for me in X 10.11.1.

Are you using OpenOffice to view the file by any chance? If so, that is a known OpenOffice bug. LibreOffice can open the file no problem. See also this discussion.

Thank you allan. It is working correctly in Ms excel and Liber Office.
