I am using a datatable and the column is so wide that the multi-column ordering button for sorting is far right, I was wondering if it was possible to move the multi-column ordering button closer to the header.

Multi-column ordering button.... Can you provide a screenshot? Not quite sure what you mean.
Regardless though, you can move anything (related to DT and its plugins/extensions) pretty much anywhere. You just either have to be familiar with how it works (and may need to mess with the
domsetting), or initiate the button(s) yourself, which you can then place them anywhere you want (which is what I do)@jay113 - Are you referring to the sort icon (which is just an icon, not a button). If so, that can be changed with CSS. But yes, as jLinux says, really we need an example showing the issue.

Yes I am referring to the sort icon. I did go into the css and move it closer to the label. Thanks
