How can I position my custom drop down list and datatable search box filter in a same row ?

I have created datatable with datatable search box filter option on above table header ,now I want to position my custom drop down list which is created using html tag before datatable search box filter in same row.i.e custom drop then datatable search box filter option in same row above table header.
